Response: In our study, the onset rate of depression episodes could be reduced by about 50% through a digital psychological self-help intervention. The group of investigated patients was very representative for people suffering from chronic pain.

Response: The intervention will be integrated into the healthcare system in Germany and other European countries. Now it is important that we closely accompany the implementation of this new form of treatment with research to optimize the intervention and increase uptake and adherence rates.

Response: The potential of proactive interventions in the field of mental healthcare is huge and we are at a dawn of a new era. I am very excited about the upcoming research and grateful to be able to help shape it.
